Dear Skyline Families,

What a great year! We have welcomed a new principal and many staff members, worked very hard to make student learning gains, and enjoyed being leaders together! We continued our tutoring program and students enjoyed several club opportunities. We also introduced our first STEM night, a family Hearty Party Valentine dance, and Math nights as new opportunities for our families to become involved at school. These activities, along with our Leadership Days, Renaissance programs, movie nights, and many others, help to emphasize the importance of academics and family involvement at school. Thanks for being a part of our Skyline family!

We would like for you to know our principal, Mrs. Trombetti, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently out on medical leave. We hope to see her back sometime in the middle of May. Please keep her in your thoughts. Skyline sends lots of love her way!

We wish the very best to our fifth grade graduates! Congratulations on your achievements and good luck to you as you move on to middle school. Remember to stay in charge of your learning and be the best you can be. You are wonderful leaders! We hope to hear from you in the future to tell us about all of the great things happening in your life. We know Skyline has provided you with a solid foundation for your education. Parents, if this is your last year, thank you for your support of Skyline Elementary and remember you always have a friend here.

We hope to see you all on Field Day, Leadership Day, and Awards Day! Have a safe, restful summer full of sunscreen, lots of reading, and loads of fun! Thank you all for sharing your students with us!

Sincerely,

Chris Cann
